We also collect practice information such as questions shown, answers or transcripts you submit, optional audio recordings when enabled, scores, study activity, and report downloads.
For service reliability and security, we may collect device, browser, IP address, sign-in, session, and error-log information. Payment information is processed by Stripe; CitizenshipAI does not store full payment-card numbers.
2. How we use information
- Provide practice, Flash Cards, interviews, scoring, translations, reports, and account support.
- Personalize question selection, study plans, reminders, and progress feedback.
- Process subscriptions, credits, receipts, and account-security actions.
- Detect abuse, protect accounts, troubleshoot errors, and improve service quality.
- Send transactional messages such as account, billing, security, and requested reminder notices.
Where an AI-powered feature is enabled, submitted content may be sent to the selected provider only to perform the requested feature, such as evaluation, transcription, translation, or voice interaction.
4. Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect account and service data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password and verification codes private and notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
We retain account and study records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, billing, legal, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping purposes. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.
5. Your choices and rights
You may update your profile, choose available communication settings, cancel a subscription according to its terms, and request account assistance at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may retain limited information where required for fraud prevention, security, billing, or legal obligations.
Do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information, government identifiers, or immigration documents through practice answer fields.
6. Children and policy changes
CitizenshipAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this notice as our practices or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
